SWS worked with London based interior designers to set out the ironmongery & door hardware requirements to suit the theme. This was inspired from the late 1800 army mess bars of India, where military regiments would go to eat, drink and socialise, Brigadiers accommodates 140 covers internally with a further 34 on an outdoor terrace. Part of the brief was to provide private dining rooms with sliding door gear to give superior easy operation. SWS set out a detailed schedule which captured all the items together into a concise list for ease of use by the contractor on site. The door pull handles scheduled were of a heavy ornate Baroque style in darkened finish on solid brass, together with coordinating ancillary items and including feature butt hinges with finials. Special attention was paid to the w.c. indicator bolts to ensure easy and reliable turn and operation.
